(d) "Coloured Guides for Safety and Supervision"
For experiments, That Science Gang provides coloured guides to the levels of safety and adult supervision required.
The yellow guide requires adult supervision for all children under 12 years of age.
The red guide means that adult supervision for all children under 18 years of age is mandatory.
The coloured guides are designed simply as a guide only to experiments conducted in strict accordance with the instructions provided – they are not guarantees of the level of safety, in particular, if instructions are not strictly followed, or if other factors, such as the level of humidity, lack of humidity, temperature, or variation in materials means that the nature of the experiment changes.
That Science Gang cannot be held liable in any way for experiments not conducted under adult supervision, or in accordance with the instructions. Those who conduct any of the experiments from this website do so at their own risk.
Notwithstanding the coloured guides, That Science Gang recommends that all children be supervised at all times when conducting any scientific experiments, regardless of the colour guidelines.
